Parish School of Religion

Catholic faith formation is a lifelong process of spiritual growth, increased understanding, and commitment to the faith and traditions of the Catholic Church. Under the new guidelines of the Diocese our Confirmation Programs now open to children in grades 4-8 who are ready for Confirmation. Joining Confirmation before 7th grade does not exclude you from continuing in our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program which is available through 6th grade. WHO?

All children of registered families of St. Timothy Church in grade 4-8 are welcomed into the Parish School of Religion (PSR). Confirmation preparation at St. Timothy begins in the fall and you must attend the full course to be Confirmed at St. Timothy Church. We invite younger children participate in our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program.

WHEN?

St. Timothy’s Parish School of Religion Education Program for Confirmation Preparation begins in September and ends at Confirmation in November. Classes meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the teacher’s lounge.

The Confirmation Preparation Class Sessions for 2026 will be:

Oct 4, 11, 18, 24

Nov 1, 8

HOW MUCH?

The cost to participate in PSR at St. Timothy is $100.00. No child will be turned away from PSR based on an inability to pay tuition. If you need assistance, simply contact Mrs. Ellen Peppercorn (epeppercorn@sttimchurch.org)

How Do WE SIGN UP?

Please register online HERE and complete it by submitting a copy of your child's baptismal certificate along with payment of tuition by September 1, 2026.

WHAT ABOUT CONFIRMATION?

The Diocese has announced a move from 8th grade to 4th grade for Confirmation, as such we will be slowly moving towards that goal. This year we are offering Confirmation to our PSR students in grades 4-8 and our St. Timothy School students grade 8.
